In the heart of a vast tropical rainforest, where storms tore endlessly at the sky, a giant pumpkin was swept away by the furious floodwaters. It spun violently in the raging current, crashing into fallen trunks before being hurled upward and wedged atop a towering ancient tree, swaying precariously amid the tempest.

Inside that pumpkin was a beautiful young girl, her entire body smeared with mud and drenched in rainwater, lying beside a tiny tiger cub. Nearby, a snow-white eaglet—no bigger than a chick—trembled as it sought shelter in the cold, damp shadows.

But that fragile calm shattered in an instant. From afar, a massive waterspout tore across the flood’s surface, swirling with the madness of a monstrous giant. In a heartbeat it closed in, pulling the enormous pumpkin straight into its vortex. The pumpkin was swallowed whole, spinning violently within the roaring column of wind before being flung back into the forest. Once again, it crashed down and lodged itself on the crown of a colossal tree, shaking violently under the pounding storm.

The pumpkin wasn’t the only thing dragged into the tempest—crocodiles, giant pythons, and creatures swept up by the flood were hurled into the ancient forest below. Everything foretold a perilous journey of survival ahead.

Inside the pumpkin, rain hammered against the thick shell, echoing like a warning drum. The trembling eaglet crept closer to the girl and the tiger cub. It hopped onto the cub’s back and tapped it gently with its tiny beak, trying to wake it. But both the girl and the cub lay motionless—still stunned from their terrifying ordeal.

Growing anxious, the eaglet staggered toward the pumpkin’s opening, peering outside as though searching for an escape.

Clinging to the rim of the opening with its delicate claws, it climbed up and stepped out. Rain lashed against its face, forcing its eyes to narrow. The tiny eaglet stood at the entrance of the giant pumpkin perched precariously atop the treetop—a fragile yet strangely powerful silhouette against the raging storm.

After a few seconds of hesitation, its true survival journey began.

The eaglet carefully took small, cautious steps along the slick branches. Unable to fly, it had to use every bit of strength to dig its claws into the trunk of the ancient tree—its diameter wider than an entire room. When it needed to descend, it hung from its claws, inching downward bit by bit. The rain fell harder and harder, pelting its face and matting its downy feathers, but it did not stop.

At last, it reached the base of the tree and hopped onto the ground, taking a moment to breathe in its brief safety.

Under the storm-darkened canopy, the eaglet crept alongside a small, clear stream now swelling with rain. Suddenly it spotted a fish the size of a human hand swimming close to the bank. Instinct took over. With a swift leap, it pounced, snatching the fish in one claw and dragging it ashore.

But before it could savor its hard-won prize, a huge cobra burst from the bushes behind it like a streak of black lightning. Its eyes blazed with ferocity. It lunged straight at the eaglet. Startled, the eaglet dropped the fish—luckily, it splashed back into the stream and vanished.

The true fight for survival had begun.

The cobra raised its head high, jaws wide, exhaling cold venomous breath. The eaglet puffed up its feathers and opened its beak wide in defiance. Under the torrent of rain, beside the rushing stream, the two small yet unyielding creatures clashed. Water exploded around them. The tension was suffocating.

In a single moment of distraction, the cobra struck, coiling tightly around the eaglet’s body and squeezing hard. The eaglet opened its beak wide—its razor-sharp beak aimed straight at its enemy. The cobra lifted its head, mouth gaping as it prepared to deliver a lethal bite.

Time froze in that razor-thin line between life and death.
