How Great British Railway Should Have Looked (GBR reworked)

First video of 2026 and happy new year to you all.

Starting off the video with my own version of Great British Railway, GBR planned state-owend railway company that will operate most rail infrastructure and the majority of passenger rail service in the coming years

Recently they have revealed the GBR livery but face critisium, claiming the brand and livery is 'careless' 'clumsy' and 'Avanti West Cost 2.0'.

I've decided to create my own version of GBR by splitting them into 3 brands under GBR, Inspired by how the railway was organised back in the late 80's/ early 90's which are.

INTERCITY - Long distance express passenger train service out of London and around the country including the upcoming HS2.

Network Railway - Formerly Network Southeast and Regional Railway In one, A commuter train service serving London and the Reigons such as C2C and Northern Trains

Regional Railway (Express) - Like Intercity but dosent serve london and focus on long distance around the UK such as Norwich - Liverpool and Manchester - Scotland, Like in the old days when operated by the class 158 and local haul stocks.

Both Intercity and Network Railway has its own sub-brands (similar to GTR) based on the area it served for example 'Intercity East Coast' and Network South Western, Having its own idendity by the color of the vinyl and brand name while the base livery remain the same as shown on the video.

Network Midlands is commuter service out of Euston, St Pancras (Corby line) ,Livepool Street and Kings Cross heading north as well as serving the entire Midlands while service out of Liverpool Street and Fenchurch Street heading east under the Network Great Eastern brand.

I have not included Merseyrail as Liverpool City Council are currently in the work on taking control of it, Much like Manchester's Bee Network is currently aiming to do, Otherwise it would have been called 'Network Mersey'

At the end of the video I've also added a bonus design of my own version of Arriva bus both brand and livery.
