A painting created in memory of Ann Prior (1944-2018) by Tessa Davidson.
There is a lighthouse on the side of the canvas—out of view when looking at the portrait directly. The light beams, however, are visible and can be seen behind her face (flowing the direction of her gaze forward). This is reminiscent of Ann’s faith and the invisible source of light that propelled her and flowed through her every action—causing others to want to seek its source.
