Trinamool Congress (TMC), in response, denied any involvement in the same. Since the announcement of the Election dates, Bengal is witnessing several incidents of violence.
Active bombs were recovered outside a BJP worker's house in Cooch Behar.
The West Bengal Governor has expressed concerns over the performance of the State Election Commissioner, stating he failed to perform his duties, leading to disappointment in people. The bombs were recovered from the Murshidabad area, and the governor also visited the violence area in Murshidabad. Yesterday, a man was also killed in a bombing in the Murshidabad area.. We have asked the SEC about why central forces have not been deployed in polling booths", says Bharati Ghosh.
