We head to Courts Jamaica to shop for a deep freezer as we continue building toward more self-sufficient living. The rain rolls in, the boys handle their chores, and Dave gets his school grades back — some good, some that need work.

Not every day is perfect, but every day is progress. We end the evening with Sonia’s incredible curry chicken and a simple moment putting on Andre’s new screen protector.

This is retirement in Jamaica… the highs, the lessons, and the quiet growth in between.
