How many languages do you know?
In our southern languages, the letters are a bit rounder, while in northern languages, they are written with more straight lines.
This is because, many years ago, when languages were evolving in North India, they were written on the bark of a tree that grows in the Himalayas.
This bark made it easy to write straight lines.
On the other hand, in the South, people used palm leaves for writing.
Writing directly on these leaves made rounder shapes, but it was also more prone to tearing.
