Solo with Rolo - while we were staying at Lady Margaret's Park Caravan and Motorhome club site, in Chirk Wrexham, we spent a day wondering around Chirk Castle grounds. There area many walks direct from the site, to the castle, to Chirk, to the Chirk Aqueduct, or walks along the towpath of the nearby canal. It is ideal for walkers and dog walkers. There is also a dog walk on site.
At Chirk Castle, dogs are not allowed in the castle or formal gardens but are allowed in the grounds and in the shop. There is also a cafe with outdoor seating.
Please keep your dogs on a lead because there are sheep grazing in the grounds of the castle and also other wildlife, squirrels, rabbits etc.
