Upgrade to the latest LTS release: You can upgrade to Ubuntu 24.04 LTS (Noble Numbat), which will be supported until April 2029. However, since upgrades are sequential, you'll need to first upgrade to Ubuntu 22.04 LTS.
Obtain Expanded Security Maintenance (ESM): With an Ubuntu Pro subscription, you can extend the support period for Ubuntu 20.04 LTS until April 2030, with an option to add Legacy Support for an additional 2 years, extending the total security maintenance period until April 2032.
