LFA - Measuring Thermal Conductivity
In our webinar we will present you the LFA (Laser Flash). After a short introduction into our thermal conductivity devices and especially the LFA, our application experts will take you into the laboratory and show you the different measuring systems and crucibles as well as an insight into the software. Afterwards you will have the opportunity to ask your questions to our experts.


What is the LFA Analyzer?
The most common way to measure thermal diffusifity will be the well known Laser flash method (LFA). Here a sample is pulsed with a Laser and an IR detector on the opposite detects the temperature rise of the sample, what leads to the thermal diffusifity. If the density and specific heat capacity are known, the thermal conductivity can be calculated.
