Описание: In a world shaped by constant change, how can individuals continue learning throughout life—and how can systems make this possible for all? Lifelong Learning Entitlements offer one answer. They ensure that everyone has the right to access learning opportunities throughout their lives, regardless of background, occupation, or age. With over 3.8 million people already benefiting, Lifelong Learning Entitlements are emerging as powerful tools supporting career transitions, equity, and meaningful engagement with lifelong learning opportunities.

On the occasion of Human Rights Day, this webinar will explore key findings from a new UNESCO report that illustrates how six countries - Australia, Canada, France, Ireland, the Republic of Korea, and Singapore – are putting Lifelong Learning Entitlements into practice through innovative measures such as personal learning accounts, vouchers, subsidies, and tax incentives. Through a series of dynamic interventions, it will also consider how, by linking training rights directly to individuals rather than to jobs, these mechanisms make education more portable, inclusive, and responsive to rapidly evolving labour markets.

The launch and presentation of the new UNESCO report titled Lifelong Learning Entitlements: From Design to Impact – Cases of Australia, Canada, France, Ireland, Republic of Korea, and Singapore, highlighting key lessons from diverse national approaches.
Interventions from countries currently engaging in UIL capacity-building initiatives, sharing their perspectives on Lifelong Learning Entitlements.
This event is open to policymakers, education professionals, and all those interested in building lifelong learning systems that leave no one behind.
