How to Unlock Prince Eric in Disney Dreamlight Valley [No Commentary Playthrough]

This is a playthrough of how to Unlock Prince Eric from the Little Mermaid in Disney Dreamlight Valley. This involves two quests:

01:38 - "A Deal with Ursula"
04:16 - "Poor Unfortunate Prince"

You'll first need to get Ursula to Friendship Level 10, then start and complete her quest: "A Deal with Ursula".

"A DEAL WITH URSULA"

Talk to Ursula to start her quest. She's looking for a powerful item and asks for your help. She reveals that she's had Prince Eric in her garden this entire time and will release him as long as you help her.

Head to the Forgotten Lands and investigate the ruins here. Pick up the Dark Crystal from the pedestal. The other pedestals will begin to glow.

Bring the Dark Crystal you picked up to Ursula. You'll need to find 3 more crystals, one for each of the pedestals, to solve the puzzle.

You can find the 3 crystals in random places through the valley, and will have a pulsing purple glow around them.

Here's where I found mine:

1. Glade of Trust: by Mother Gothel's Giant Willow Tree
2. Sunlit Plateau: overlooking the Peaceful Meadow
3. Frosted Heights: nearby Olaf's Secret Chamber

Once you have all the crystals, head back to the Forgotten Lands and place on on each of the glowing pedestals. Pick up the Crystal of Power that appears on the center pedestal.

Bring the Crystal of Power to Ursula. In return, she'll give you Prince Eric, but he's been turned into a Poor Unfortunate Soul.

This completes Ursula's Friendship Level 10 Quest.

"POOR UNFORTUNATE PRINCE"

Completing this quest automatically leads into Prince Eric's first quest: "Poor Unfortunate Prince". Completing "Poor Unfortunate Prince" will welcome Prince Eric to your valley!

Bring Poor Unfortunate Soul Eric to Ariel. Ariel will ask you to ask Merlin for his help.

Talk to Merlin. He'll give you Eric's house to place anywhere in the valley.

Place down Prince Eric's house and interact with the Scrooge sign to pay the 10000 Star Coins to construct it.

Next, enter Eric's house and pick up an object that is dear to his heart. You can find this object, his flute, on the first table you see.

Bring Eric's Flute to Ariel. Talking to Ariel will welcome Prince Eric back to the valley.

Talk to Eric. He's hungry ans asks you to make him some meals. He'll give you the recipes for:

Gazpacho (Cucumber, Tomato, Onion, any Spice)
Vegetarian Stew (Potato, Carrot, Onion)
Berry Salad (Raspberry, Blueberry, Gooseberry)

Head to any cooking station and make the meals requested.

Bring the meals to Eric and then follow him to witness his reunion with Ariel.

Talk to Eric to complete the Quest!
