Surviving the Texas FREEZE in our RV! | RV Newbie Series [USA Road Trip]

Well, we didn't see this one coming. We went to Texas to avoid the cold, only to encounter our first real winter RV scenario with no power, no water, little fuel or propane (to keep our furnace on) to top it all off. This Texas winter storm was no joke for the entire city of Austin, but everyone in our Austin RV Park came together and helped each other out.

With power outages throughout much of Texas, so many people were without power and without water for WAY too long and we all did our best to weather the storm without a properly winterized RV. To say the least, Texas was NOT prepared for the cold but it was a great learning experience for us to better prepare for these types of unforeseen circumstances.
