Описание: 8-month-old baby, Pablo Kye Golden, was killed when he was placed in a road and run over by a vehicle on the city's Westside, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

JSO arrested 20-year-old Justin Golden on charges of vehicular homicide, failing to render aid and aggravated manslaughter of a child.

According to JSO, an altercation between Golden and a woman passenger began near the McDuff and Lenox avenues intersection around 10:40 a.m. Also in the car was the 8-month-old child. When the car came to a stop at the intersection, Golden opened the door and placed the child on the ground. He then began to drive off and struck the child. A witness said she was behind the vehicle stopped at the light and saw a female get out and walk away. Then the man placed something on the road and slowly closed the driver's door before leaving.

The driver, 20-year-old Justin Towand Golden, was located in a traffic stop nearby and taken in for questioning, the Sheriff's Office said. He was later arrested on charges of aggravated manslaughter of a child and vehicular homicide ― failing to render aid. Golden has since been identified as the child's father. He remained in jail Monday morning, and bail hadn't been set at that time, jail records showed.
