David Burkus on why good employees quit. Despite the maxim's that good people don't quit companies they quit managers, good employees actually leave because of bad company cultures. Good employees quit because the company culture allows all those other things to happen. If you want to stop good employees from quitting, and you can't change the culture, then your job is to act as a human shield to your people.
