Day 29 in Mindway's "30 Days of Mindfulness."
I did not like this session. I can't tell if it was intentional that the topic for this sesson being "Concentration," was placed in an environment that led me to close my eyes for a good portion of the time. What got me was the spinning movement of the blue raised platform that created a sense of spinning that wasn't actually happening. It's like when you focus on a luggage return at the airport when it's moving, and you might start to feel that you're the one who's moving. So as this platform is moving, I felt like I was spinning, but the rest of the background wasn't moving, plus I wasn't actually moving.
My inner ear was not having a good time at all, which is why I was looking up frequently or looking around. Looking at nearly anything that wasn't that spinning platform, but if you do see me looking ahead, just know that my eyes were likely closed.
I guess I wasn't able to concentrate very well for this session.
