On Sunday, October 26, Ghana Black Queens player Grace Asantewaa demonstrated her compassion and generosity by donating to the Up & Shine Orphanage in Kwakyekrom-Nsawam. The children at the orphanage, many of whom have lost limbs in accidents, were shown love and support by Asantewaa and her team.

Through her foundation, the Grace Asantewaa Foundation, Asantewaa donated essential items such as bags of rice, oil, washing powder, soaps, drinks, and monetary contributions to the orphanage. In a heartfelt speech, she encouraged the children and the needy to persevere and overcome their challenges, emphasizing the importance of breaking barriers despite their circumstances.

Asantewaa expressed her eagerness to meet the orphans and amputees after missing the foundation's first visit, and she made sure to join the team this time around. She also acknowledged the support of Ghana Women's National Team Coach Kim Las, who was instrumental in facilitating her visit to the orphanage.
