In Hebrews 7:20–28, we’re reminded that Jesus is the guarantee of a better covenant—one that brings us into a secure, lasting relationship with God. Unlike the old covenant, which depended on imperfect priests, this new covenant is founded on Christ’s perfect, unchanging priesthood.
Because Jesus lives forever and intercedes for us continually, we can draw near to God with confidence, knowing that our salvation is secure in Him.
