The accused reportedly gained entry to the victim's home by claiming he needed a signature for a delivery. When the woman went to get a pen, the man allegedly locked the hall, entered her bedroom, and sexually assaulted her. Police suspect the use of a sedative spray during the attack. The accused also reportedly took a selfie with the victim's phone and issued threats. Pune Police have formed 10 teams to apprehend the suspect and are examining CCTV footage from the society.
