As per the latest news on Mirror Now, the Zojila Tunnel in Jammu and Kashmir will provide all-weather road connectivity to the Ladakh region and will be opened for the armed forces next year. The first phase of the tunnel is near completion and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari will be visiting the Zojila tunnel to launch the first phase of the strategic tunnel. The Z-Morh is a 6km long tunnel that will connect Sonmargh with Jammu and Kashmir helping armed forces in their movement on the Srinagar-Leh highway around the year.
