A selection of the weird and wonderful went on display on Thursday
(30/3) at the twenty third International Inventions exhibition in
Geneva, Switzerland. A thousand inventions are featured in what's
acknowledged as the biggest exhibition of its kind. This year it
features a French invented bicycle that the rider doesn't have to
peddle. All they have to do is walk, apparently doubling the
performance of traditional bicycles. Also featured is a Chinese
designed bouyancy control vest that allows divers to drink water
while submerged, and from the Netherlands a "half step" that
reduces the height of normal stairs, making them easier for the
elderly to climb.
