Описание: Amid rising tensions in West Asia and growing uncertainty over the Strait of Hormuz, Iran’s Representative of the Supreme Leader in India, Dr Abdul Majid Hakeem Ilahi, has issued a strong statement on the ongoing crisis and the breakdown of US–Iran talks.

Speaking in Delhi, Ilahi said the Strait of Hormuz belongs to all countries and not just the United States, stressing that Iran wants the crucial maritime route to remain open for global trade. However, he acknowledged that the situation on the ground remains tense, with only limited shipping movement currently taking place through the waterway.
