Our conservation partner Ocelot Working Group, is starting a new collaboration with UAEM in the Sierra de Huautla, Morelos, to better understand how free-roaming dogs 🐕 interact with wildlife and to promote responsible ownership within the community of La Tigra. 🌿🌎

This project will generate key information to inform the management of these animals in the reserve, helping reduce the threats they pose to small wild cats such as the margay 🐆 and to wildlife overall 🌿💚.

Free-ranging dogs may seem harmless, but they can be a serious threat to wildlife—especially small wild cats like the margay. 🐾
