Applecross Pass || North Coast 500 on a Kawasaki Ninja 500se || Day4

Описание: It was day four of our trip and the third day on the NC500 and out of the whole trip, it was the day we anticipated the most. We had, possibly the most awe-inspiring section of road ahead of us, the famous Applecross Pass. We'd already bumped into two other bikers the night before, in Ullapool, who were doing the NC500 in the other direction and had just come up the pass that day. They showed us some of the most spectacular photo's on their phones, which all added to our eager anticipation of what was to come.

The Kawasaki Ninja 500se was still going strong and sticking with the big adventure bikes along the was. It proved that there was no need to

The RST Paragon 7 jacket and trousers were keeping me dry and warm throughout and had it got too hot I could have opened the vents to cool down. Unfortunately though, at the end of April near the northern most point of Scotland, it isn't that hot and I ended up leaving all the the thermal linings inside them. My RST S1 waterproof boots had also kept me dry and warm, and my AGV AX9 helmets had done a brilliant job of deflecting the flying rocks that came my way.

The scenery of the NC500 is particularly beautiful in a rugged and wild way. We stopped at the top of the Applecross Pass and the Waterside Café next to LochCarran

In our next episode, we are going to tackle the famous Apple Cross Pass and then try to make it all the way back to Inverness.
