Solo Walking 150km on the Snowdonia Way (pt. 2) | Some of the Most Beautiful Views I’ve Ever Seen!

In late September 2025, Otto and I set out on another (slightly lesser-known) long-distance trail: the 97-mile Snowdonia Way, which crosses Eryri National Park from Machynlleth in the south to Conwy in the north. The trail offers two options (which intersect regularly): a lower route with less elevation, and the mountain route (122 miles) that takes in some of the most iconic peaks in Wales.

Join us for days 3 to 5 as we walk into the heart of Eryri. We enjoyed more incredibly sunny weather, along with some long days and plenty of elevation. The views and absolutely gorgeous scenery made it all worth it and we passed through iconic places like Croesor, Aberglaslyn and Beddgelert - each one even more beautiful in their autumn colours.
