Luftkissenboote sind vielseitig und machen Spaß! Sie können auf´s Wasser, auf´s Land, über Eis und Schnee, rasende Strömung macht ihnen genausowenig etwas aus wie Sandbänke. Schnell sind sie, und wendig. Ein original Hovercraft muß allen anderen Fahrzeugen ausweichen, oder, wie ein Hovercraftkapitän mir sagte: Wir betrachten alle anderen Schiffe als "stehende Objekte".

Dieses Modell ist ein freier Nachbau des Erfolgsmodells von Griffon Hoverworks in Südengland. Die Pläne zum Nachbau des Griffon 2000 TDX wurden von Mark Porter umgesetzt und sind freundlicherweise auch für jeden frei zugänglich! Thanks for that, Mark!

Wenn Ihr Bauinteressenten seid, lohnt sich sicherlich auch ein Bick in das gleichnamige Buch von Mark Porter zu finden im Buchhandel.... (nein, keine Werbung, es gibt leider weltweit nur das eine Buch zu diesem Thema :-))

English Version:
Hovercrafts are versatile and much fun! They are able to travel on water, on Land, over Ice and Snow, raging currents don´t bother them as well as Sandbanks. Fast, that´s what they are. And agile.
A Hovercraft has to avoid all other traffic, or, as a real Hovercraftcaptain once told me: We take every other ship as an "standing Object"!

This model is a free replica of the Top Seller from Griffon Hoverworks in south England. The Plans to build this Model of a Griffon 2000 TDX were developed by Mark Porter, who kindly did put them up on his homepage for everyone to use free of charge! Thanks for that, Mark!
