He’ll show us what it has in common with our Simple Post and Rung design and where things get a little more complicated.
He will also clearly define why we might say a Post has Rake, Splay, or both.
Here’s a quick shorthand to help you keep track…
No Rake or Splay - Rungs intersect the long axis of the Post at 90 degrees
Rake - Side Rungs intersect the long axis of the Post at any angle other than 90 degrees
Splay - Front or Rear Rungs intersect the long axis of the Post at any angle other than 90 degrees
