A wind blew over the city. It grew stronger, thickening the air, making it difficult to breathe. The gusts grew stronger with each passing second, becoming bolder and more furious. The wind no longer roared, but whistled in my ears, forcing the grass to bend to the ground. The trees creaked, snapping their thin branches, as if an invisible giant were playing soldiers with them. Heavy blue clouds drifted very low to the horizon, gathering into a single, dark mass, filling the entire sky.

A deafening roar of thunder echoed, followed by a downpour, like an obedient servant.
Large, sharp drops struck the ground, leaving dark traces. The rain quickly intensified; it fell upon the earth in a blind, endless wall of water. The wind picked up the raindrops and pelted them onto roofs, glass, and anything that hadn't managed to hide. The asphalt disappeared, replaced by seething, rapidly growing puddles. They grew deeper, like small lakes, and with every gust of wind, ripples and waves covered them. The water, not yet absorbed into the ground, ran in streams along the roadsides, merging
into entire rivers, washing away all the dust and leaves in its path. It seemed as if the water would rise even higher at any moment, flooding the rapids, washing away all obstacles. The world shrank to the size of a window, beyond which the elements raged.

And as suddenly as it had begun, everything began to subside. But the rain didn't end. It simply died down, turning into a fine, frequent drizzle, as if lying low to give nature a chance to catch its breath. The wind, too, was tired; Now it only occasionally stirred the wet branches, from which the accumulated drops fell heavily. In a fragile, ringing moment of calm, a few rays of cold light peeked out. They didn't drive away the clouds, but, falling on the wet roofs and leaves, made the millions of droplets sparkle with a brilliant shine. The sun illuminated the rain itself, making it visible, tangible. And through its golden streams, new clouds could be seen swirling on the horizon.

The storm was beautiful in its deceptiveness and power. It seemed as if it were merely awakening anew, remembering something important and evil, only to return. And the rain... The rain, which had just been a mere elastic shroud, came to life again. From somewhere above, from the very clouds, drops began to fall lazily. The wind tilted them, washing away the newly born sunbeams. But this time, the elements had miscalculated. Her fury was great, but it drained away like sand in an hourglass.

And at that moment, the wind finally ran out of steam, its strength exhausted. The heavy clouds couldn't bear it any longer and broke apart, and through a crack between them, a veritable stream of sunlight poured. It flooded the sodden world, making every puddle shine with dazzling silver. The rain retreated, washed away by a wave of warmth and light, giving way to a blazing sun.
