Attabad Lake in Northern Pakistan was created in early 2010 when a massive landslide cut off the Hunza valley from the upper north.
Twenty people are said to have died, and many more became victim of floods and irregular water flow. Additionally, the Karakoram Highway was blocked and aid from China, following after the floods in July of the same year, had to be transported over the lake.
This footage shows the situation in September and October of last year, when I traveled through this region.
