Описание: India's Parliamentary Committee on Communications and IT has given Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg a three-day ultimatum to publicly apologise over the temporary removal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Facebook video, warning that Meta could lose its "safe harbour" protection. The committee says the incident raises serious concerns about democratic institutions, while Meta maintains it was a technical error. The panel has also directed major social media platforms to remove Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse Material (CSEAM) and objectionable content targeting women within three days. Meanwhile, Telangana Police have registered FIRs against Meta and Google over separate allegations involving fake videos and financial fraud.
