Batman is called to investigate an unusual murder. Following clues, Batman finds the killer's hideout in an abandoned scrapyard. In a fierce battle, he almost loses his life to the Predator. Batman escapes to Wayne Manor, where Alfred tends to his injuries. While bedridden, he works on a plan to confront the Predator again.

During Batman's recovery, the Predator continues its calculated attacks. Commissioner Gordon narrowly survives an attack by the Predator, thanks to another officer's sacrifice. The death toll keeps rising. The National Guard initiates a countdown, planning to use a tactic that may cost more lives than it will save. Despite being far from fully healed, Batman dons a custom exoskeleton suit to enhance his strength and counter the Predator's stealth technology.

The showdown unfolds on the GCPD roof, leading to a chase in the Batmobile and ultimately ending up in the Batcave and Wayne Manor. Batman finally incapacitates the Predator with a wide-spectrum tranquilizer and a gunshot from Alfred. He delivers the final blow with a wooden bat. Defeated, the Predator commits honor suicide and the Predator commander presents the sword to Batman. Batman is confident that the Predators won't return.
