I decided to start a weekly review series that will go over what The Beast has said to me and how I overcame it. If you don't know what the Beast is it is a term used in Rational Recovery to indicate your addictive voice is speaking. The AV of AVRT, once recognized, can separate you from your urges. Rational Recovery is an alternative approach to addiction that's completely different from AA and can result in your immediate and lifelong abstinence. Here is the first in the series:
