The Sadducees were greatly disturbed that Peter and John preached about the name of Jesus and the resurrection from the dead. They did not believe in the after life or the resurrection.
Despite the opposition coming against the gospel, the number of Christians kept increasing, growing from 3000 to 5000.
The rulers of the people and elders of Israel did not mind the people getting healed and the number of the church increasing. They were merely against the proclamation of the name of Jesus.
The name that has power to heal all sicknesses and diseases. The name that mankind can proclaim and can be saved.
