4 Principles for Finding a Christian Husband - Genesis 24 Study

Описание: Join us as we dig into Genesis 24 to find very practical principles for finding a Christian husband. This Bible study, based on the story of Isaac and Rebekah, explores four things a woman can do to position herself for marriage:

Faithful in the Mundane: Rebekah was chosen while doing her daily chores. We often underestimate the importance of doing mundane tasks, but her faithfulness in these things positioned her to be chosen. Pay attention to how you do your tasks, even showing up to work.

Concerned with Beauty: The Bible explicitly states that Rebekah was "very beautiful". This includes taking care of your physical appearance, as well as cultivating the internal beauty that comes from confidence, being loved by God, and having a peaceful spirit.

In Constant Communication with the Lord: The servant who sought Isaac's wife was constantly communicating with the Lord. If the men are talking to the Lord when looking for a wife, then our communication should also be with the Lord.

Under Covering: Rebekah was in her father's house. While not everyone has this option, there is value in dating under the covering of a father or adopting Christian community that can speak into your life and desires.
