Replicating an Original Science Fiction Screen Used 1980's Special Effects Spaceship Model Film Prop

'Saga of a Crew' Movie Prop
Replicating a spaceship made reference to in the early stages of the Film by the Fleet Admiral (played by Calvin P. Christopher) as having been destroyed in an explosion - the key event leading to the supply shortage - a main aspect in the story. An opportunity to enjoy crafting the Fleet Tanker's lost 'sister ship 'Germania' by doubling hundreds of exacting measurements off the original studio miniature. As with any 'sister ship' there are minute differences attributable to design modifications implemented in the time span between the two vessel's constructions - a fancy way of saying I exercised the opportunity to make changes as necessary due to the unavailability of 2X scale identical parts.
