Psychiatry & MRCPsych Pathway with Marwa Nofal

Описание: My guest today is Dr Marwa Nofal, Specialist Psychiatrist. She was awarded the Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych), the UK in 2022. She is a member of the World Psychiatric Association, Early career psychiatrists section.
Marwa graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, Class 2015, with a Very Good grade with Honors. She started her career as a resident in Helwan Mental Health Hospital and worked as a visiting resident at the Institute of Psychiatry of Ain Shams University. She joined Hamad Medical Corporation as visiting trainee in the Department of Psychiatry, Community Mental Health Service and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service.
She lectured at multiple events held by Mental Health Friends Association (Weyak) targeting both mental health professionals and the public in Doha/Qatar. She also worked in the Egyptian Red Crescent as an instructor and lecturer in campaigns related to the mental health of refugees.
Marwa is a member of the American Psychiatrists Association, the USA and a member of the Egyptian Association of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
In May 2020, she founded the Mental Health Research Network of Egypt (MHRNE); an initiative to facilitate high-quality research on mental health-related topics in the Egypt MENA region. Since its launch, more than 250 researchers joined and started their research projects.

In this series, I interview my guest/s regarding their expertise in their specialities, their feedback on their career so far and their tips and tricks for passing international postgraduate certificates.

The targeted audience is Arab, especially Egyptian, medical students, medical interns and medical graduates who did not pick their specialities yet.
