Internal auditing is a highly skilled profession within the accounting services industry that is primarily concerned with an organization's risk management, governance, and internal control processes.
Worldwide, the demand for trained professionals in this area vastly outweighs the talent supply.
Recognizing this need, the University of the Commonwealth Caribbean, starting this (Summer) Semester, will roll out the Internal Auditing Degree Programme, making it the only Higher Education Institution in the Caribbean to offer a degree in this field.
The programme is also recognized and endorsed by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
