Crockpot Chicken & Biscuits

Who doesn’t love comfort food? This delicious recipe is just like chicken pot pie except without all of the hassle. I make it at least once a month in the winter and we rarely have left overs. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
Ingredients:
~ 1 1/2 lbs of chicken (you can also get away with 1 1/4 lbs if you want less chicken)
~ 1 Tsp of paprika & 1 Tsp of Garlic Powder
~ 1/2 Tsp of oregano & 1/2 Tsp of Thyme
~ 1 Tbsp of minced garlic
~ 1 Small yellow or white onion chopped (1/2 of a large onion will work as well)
~ 1 Bag of frozen mixed vegetables
~ 2 Regular size cans of cream of chicken soup or 1 large can (I use a 26oz can)
~ 1 Can of biscuits
~ A splash of heavy cream or milk if desired.
Instructions:
Chop your onion and garlic if you’re using fresh cloves. Place your chicken breasts in your slow cooker first. Now add all of your ingredients on top (except for the splash of milk or cream). The order in which you add them does not matter. Place the lid back on, your slow cooker to low and cook for 6 hrs.
Once your chicken is fully cooked, take it out and cut it up into chunks or shred it. Add it back to your slow cooker. Now if desired you can add a splash of milk or heavy cream (I use roughly a 1/4 cup of heavy cream). Stir that in until it’s throughly mixed.
Bake your biscuits according to the directions on the package. Serve your chicken and veggies over the biscuits.
