So, the obvious elephant in the room is the Deimos changes. The problem with this weapon, in my opinion, is that it statistically power creeps a lot of the alternatives, even without penetration, which is frustrating. My suggestion would have been to nerf its numbers and keep the penetration. That way the new weapon would be a side grade with interesting mechanics, instead of an outright upgrade with very little unique to it. Ah well, can't win them all!
