I often have clients coming to me distraught that their lender just denied their mortgage loan application--many times right before closing. Please keep in mind that not all lenders are identical and it can prove to be very helpful to speak with another lender for a second opinion. Especially a mortgage broker. I have found that banks, credit unions, big box lenders, and online lenders tend to create the majority of these denial issues for home buyers.
