Music for Global Human Development is an activist ethnomusicology fostering human rights through sustainable, collaborative projects. Human development, a human process upholding human values by reinforcing the I-thou essence of human connection, is impeded by dehumanization resulting from mediation of personal relationships through an impersonal world system. In my talk, I focus on performing arts promoting health rights in Africa.
