One of the trickiest parts of learning German is memorizing the articles. Learners often tend to struggle with the German articles. Since even non-living things have a gender "maskulin (der)", "feminin (die)" or "neutrum (das)", often there is no logic behind those classifications of gender. However, there are some endings of the noun that will help you learn the articles easily. In this video we will go through some hints on how to figure out the German articles.

The best thing to do is learning the German nouns together with their article and the plural form. Eventually you will figure out some common patterns and then you will start guessing the articles correctly even without memorizing each and every noun.
