Saag Rota (or Saag Rotla) is a famous, rich, and traditional winter delicacy originating from Chirawa, Rajasthan. It is a unique, slow-cooked vegetarian dish often served with thick, rustic, for saag. I am also attached receipt for Chirawa rotla in the description box.
Ingredient
Bay Leaf - 1 no
Coriander Seeds- 1/2 tsp
Cinnamon stick - 1 no
Cardamom - 2 nos
Black pepper - 1/2 tsp
Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
Onion -4 nos medium size
Ginger Garlic Pate - 1 tblsp
Tomato Puree - 1 Cup
Green Chilli - 2 nos
Green Peas - 1 Cup
Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
Red Chilli Paste - 2 tblsp Or Chilli Powder - 2 tblsp
Salt - as needed
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
Coriander Powder - 1 tblsp
Garam Masala - 1 tsp
Thick Curd - 1 Cup
Cauliflower Florets - 2 Cups
Lemon Juice - 1 tblsp
Kasoori Methi - 1 tsp
Orange Juice- 1 Cup
Chopped Coriander leaves - Handful
Ghee - 1 tsp
