Good News For a Second Stimulus Check [Sept 17 Stimulus Check Update]

Описание: A bipartisan group of 50 House members known as the Problem Solvers Caucus unveiled a roughly $2 trillion coronavirus stimulus bill amid frustration with congressional and White House leaders for failing to deliver desperately needed aid to Americans. Their proposal features a combination of priorities from both parties.

Pres. Trump also tweeted for more spending.

However, there is still a lot of disagreement in Congress. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has said she is not willing to accept a piecemeal bill and is holding out for Republicans to agree to more spending.

Not many Republicans are willing to sign off on more spending and many people on Capitol Hill remain very skeptical that an agreement between the White House and Democrats is likely before the election.
