A shocking incident has surfaced from **New Guru Nanak Nagar, Kapurthala**, where a domestic dispute escalated into a violent clash between two groups of relatives. The altercation reportedly took place over an ongoing property dispute concerning a residential house (kothi), leaving **three people injured, including two women**.

According to Kulwinder Kumar, son of Boota Ram and a resident of New Guru Nanak Nagar, tensions had been brewing for some time regarding ownership and possession of a house in the area. He alleged that his relatives attempted to forcibly कब्ज़ा (take possession) of the property. When he and his family resisted, the situation turned violent.

Kulwinder Kumar, his wife Anjana Kumari, and his sister Ranjit Kaur were allegedly attacked and sustained injuries during the clash. All three were immediately rushed by family members to **Civil Hospital Kapurthala**, where they are currently undergoing treatment.

Doctors on duty, led by Dr. Vandana, provided medical care and prepared the MLR (Medico-Legal Report), which has been forwarded to the police for further action.

Upon receiving information about the incident, officials from *City Police Station Kapurthala* reached the spot. ASI Harjeet Singh stated that statements from the injured and family members are being recorded and further legal proceedings will follow accordingly.

This incident has once again raised concerns over rising property disputes turning violent in Punjab. Authorities are investigating the matter, and appropriate action will be taken based on the findings.
