hey fam,
i gotta tell y’all the backstory behind this mix. life been extremely challenging & taxing so i went for a walk around the city last night for a hr, talking to GOD, overly frustrated with the weight i have to carry on a daily basis.
i came home pulled out my controller and just started recording and man, it made me feel much better, atleast for that one moment all my problems & worries disappeared. watch til the end because there is a quote i placed there, and it is a affirmation of sorts a reminder to myself and all of US.
art is by my brother @7godxx who is just a amazing human & creative. we always have funny, introspective & honest conversations about everything and we definitely did about this painting. i know the statement is BOLD, and ART is supposed to make you think and challenge your ideology. my viewpoint GOD cant be defined by gender, GOD is omnipresent. but if you look deeper into the painting it says much more…
im writing all this so you can understand why i picked these songs, music is so much deeper than just the listen…
