Best Mini Lathe mod ever!! No more chatter!

Описание: This is arguably the best modification you can make to any 7x14 mini lathe to increase the depth-of-cut, decrease tool chatter and improve dimensional tolerances and improve surface finishes!.

Before this modification, I was turning a max D.O.C of 0.030", which is okay for this caliber of lathe, but it was not without chatter, galling and loads of other surface imperfections.

Another huge benefit from this mod is the ability to easily do parting operations, especially in difficult to part materials like steel and titanium. It's such an easy modification, I don't know why it took me so long to do it!

Accessing those two socket head cap screws to rotate the cross slide is as easy as loosening and rotating the QCTP to 45 degrees to expose the mounting holes.
