Racing a Delta 737 into Key West **See Description**

Описание: Rebecca and Cisco join me for a Father's Day Cessna 172 flight from Miami to Key West with flight following. Cisco gets to try piloting his first time ever flying in a small plane.

The Key West tower controller tests the landing skills of a rusty old pilot. Delta Flight 2878 left KATL the same time we left KTMB. It was a close race.

Key West is a great destination for South Florida pilots wanting a "Hundred Dollar Cheeseburger in Paradise." We did this as an easy day-trip. Try renting bikes to save cab fare and tour the town!

The video includes startup and takeoff from Tamiami, a touch and go at Homestead General, flight over the Everglades, Florida Bay and down along the lower keys.

Key West is closer to Havana (90nm) than Miami (110nm).
