Basic Economics is one of the best books to read if you want to understand how the economy works and how different policies affect your life.
The unfortunate thing about economics is that we CANNOT escape from it. We can suffer or enjoy the consequences of following or breaking its laws. The best we can do, is understand them so they don't work against us.
From the U.S. to India, from modern times to the Great Depression and the times of the U.S.S.R., Thoamas Sowell explains in simple terms with real examples how the economy works.
If you also want to be a bit smarter and understand the world around you, I would add this book to Santa's list 🎄🎅🏼.
