China's low-altitude economy expected to hit $500 billion by 2035 — with Shenzhen at the forefront

In China, the low-altitude industry is pushing the limits even further.
Every day from 10:30 in Shenzhen, drones take to the skies from Qianhai to deliver parcels to neighbouring cities Zhongshan and Zhuhai.
In other cities across the country, like Beijing, Shanghai, and northwest China's Urumqi, companies are using drones to deliver fresh food, medicine and packages—all in minutes.
Data from China's Civil Aviation Administration projects the country's low-altitude economy will reach a market size of 3.5 trillion yuan, or over 500 billion US dollars by 2035.
