Описание: The Korg Poly-61, released in 1982 as the follow-up to the PolySix. Many consider the Poly-61 inferior to the PolySix, because it sounds so basic, but that is also its strength. Sounds from this just blend in so well with other sounds and especially for Italo Disco and early, more raw type of synthpop.
I love this synth just for its raw and unpolished sound.

I've created 64 new patches that can be loaded into this synth to get that raw feeling going. These sounds can be bought and downloaded here:

To get my 64 new patches for the Poly-61 into your own synth, you must do this:

Download the Zip-file “POLY-61 EK” and Un-Zip it
Transfer the Wav-file to your phone, computer or device that has an audio output jack
Connect an audio cable from the device into the jack labelled "FROM TAPE" on your Poly-61 (on the rear)
Set the switch "FROM TAPE" to HIGH or LOW depending on the output level from your device
Set the switches "WRITE" and "TAPE" both to ENABLE
Press the LOAD button on the Poly-61
Start the device and play the audio file "POly-61 EK"
If LOAD was GOOD, the display will say so, if not it will say ERR
(Er r), then you must try again with different settings
Set the "WRITE" and "TAPE" back to DISABLE when the patches has been transferred successfully

The switch HIGH or LOW is key here. The Audio file is verified to work from a phone with volume at maximum and the switch set to LOW

If all fails you can use the supplied patch sheet and input the parameters yourself the old school way. Don't forget to save (WRITE)

All patches you have from before will be erased if you load in my new set. You should save your patches if you wish to keep them!
